Bundled Up

I don't know about the rest of the country, but here in the PNW the blanket scarf is making an enormous cozy comeback this fall!  As the temperatures get chillier, over-sized scarves and Starbucks cups are covering my campus right now.  

There are so many ways to style a larger scarf.  Pairings include a leather jacket, knit cardigan, or a loose long sleeve tee.  Plaid scarves go great with denim and solid colors, while neutral toned scarves can be worn with pretty much anything!

It's amazing how this simple item is making such a major statement this fall.  I know us ladies are grateful to be following a trend that's actually super comfortable since that usually isn't the case!

For this look, I chose to wear a pair of my favorite American Eagle jeans to keep warm.  I also wore a cardigan from Express- the burnt orange color is SO perfect for fall!  Of course, I can't stop wearing my favorite fall booties by Steve Madden.  This outfit consisted of a lot of heavier pieces, so I wanted to keep my shirt on the lighter side in the chiffon black top from Forever 21.

I purchased this navy and tan over-sized scarf from Forever 21 last year and it has proved to be such a great investment!   I've always loved scarves, and I'm glad this one is a part of my probably too large collection.
